Harold

Our conversation was short. I think the first thing I said to him was, "Let your daughter buy your dinner." I was standing in line behind them at Ken's Place (a grown-up seafood shack) on the Scarborough Marsh in Maine. I was standing in line to buy my parents dinner and it looked like Joanne (his daughter) could use a little help persuading him. I'm not sure she was successful. They were nice about my butting in anyway, and ended up sitting at a table right behind us.
